New approaches to golf that inspired PGA professional Lars Tobias Küpper to develop the LTK Golf Coaching concept, the corresponding products, and YouTube golf tips:
  • Comprehensive support because technology alone is rarely sufficient to improve performance
  • Mind and body communicate ideally with each other through the conscious perception of different sensory organs.
  • Instead of lifting the ball high into the air, the golfer directs the energy of the club head sideways against the ball.
  • Instead of controlling the path of the bat with his eyes, he swings a weight hanging from the bat.
  • Instead of steering the club face into the correct position, the golfer uses the centrifugal forces of the club.
  • Gain speed at the club head by ensuring the player is confident of hitting the ball
  • The golfer shuts down certain sensory organs in order to use others more intensively and thus repeat the movement more easily.
Body and mind are literally synchronized. During his years as a coach, Lars has become particularly skilled at empathizing with the player's thought processes and body.
Are you ready to learn how to play golf properly? Then join me at Lake Garda and enjoy developing a simple, repeatable, effective, dynamic, and body-friendly golf swing.
LOGIC
Free your mind through Lars' unique and targeted questioning to reach your full personal potential.
100% concentration, focus, and trust play a crucial role in every training session.
Focusing on the essentials, optimism, patience, and perseverance help us make you fitter in all areas. We pick up on development processes and accelerate them through the innovative and unique LTK Golf concept.
TECHNOLOGY
Develop your golf skills as quickly and effectively as possible with Lars' three unique cornerstones.
During technical training, you will learn how to swing the club in the most physically effective and, above all, demonstrably effective way. With consistent training, you will get to know and understand your swing as well as possible, enabling you to train more effectively on your own and achieve greater consistency in your game on the course. In your overall movement, all partial movements should show that you are bringing the energy of the club head against the ball, not on top of it or underneath it. Hitting the ball well by learning to release the centrifugal forces is followed by control over the direction of your ball flight.
BODY
Achieving maximum mental and physical performance through Lars' unique vitality concept that addresses the root causes.
Together, we apply what we have learned on the court, where we focus particularly on tactical and mental elements.
In addition to the correct swing technique and golf-specific fitness, it is important to pay close attention to your metabolism, as a balanced acid-base balance is an essential prerequisite for optimal physical and mental performance (concentration) from the 1st to the 18th hole.
The basis for this is an alkaline-rich diet (predominantly vegetarian) as well as a sophisticated combination of bioavailable micro- and macronutrients (vitamins/minerals/trace elements and protein (plant-based)/fats (unsaturated)/carbohydrates (whole grains).
...of course, we will also work with you to tailor your equipment, from balls and putters to drivers, to suit you perfectly.

Golf & Health
The PGA of Germany therefore offers its members high-quality training to becomea "PGA Health Professional,"which gives professionals confidence in dealing with students who have physical limitations or pain, and at the same time provides them with measures for dealing with these students.
PGA Health Professionalsare valuable partners for doctors and physical therapy practices.
ThePGA Health Professionaltraining program includes a series of seminars and a final course that ends with an exam. The training program is subject to continuing education requirements, as the title"PGA Health Professional"may only be used permanently if, after passing the exam, a refresher course is attended every three years.

The power of habit –it's not easy to immediately implement new momentum movements consistently; imagine you buy a new piece of furniture to create a better room layout. To place it, you have to move a few things around in the room. This leads to a change in your habits. The jackets are no longer hanging on the right but on the left, yet your head first sends you to the right. A strange feeling spreads through you. You have to get used to it. And why should you get used to it? Because the room is now better organized than before! Conclusion: keeping your goal in mind, patience, perseverance, and stamina will help you build momentum and make changes. And above all: swing lightly by reducing your strength!

Increase training intensity/concentration – How can you improve your golf swing? It is primarily by increasing your concentration on your body and club that you will achieve better results. In swimming, it is endurance. If you can swim 500 meters without a break but want to swim 1000 meters, change your training program to improve your fitness. Accept that it will be more strenuous. Conclusion: Train your golf swing in a way that makes you feel it more and more intensely! Take a look at my videos on the ForeverInTheGame Feel It Stick here on YouTube. Make conscious changes and keep getting better!

Exercise 1: Hit the ball only 50-70 meters with a 7-iron from the tee, but with your eyes closed.

Exercise 2: Hit the ball again with a 7-iron from the tee, only 50-70 meters, but this time look straight ahead without paying attention to the ball.

Concentration: You can guide the club head to the ball with your eyes. How well this works depends on my physical condition. I am not aware of the path taken by the club head. This is not particularly good for your health. However, consciously guiding the club head and focusing your concentration on it is a good alternative. Finding a way to swing the club head effectively and in a way that is easy on the body, and to release its power, brings consistency and enjoyment to the game. Get to know your swing!

And always remember: mistakes happen. They show you exactly where something is missing. Accept them as a gift.

Training on the range:

  • Practice your tee shots effectively by visualizing yourself on different holes on your course.
  • The positioning of your feet is particularly important for developing a good swing technique. You can position the mat you are standing on precisely or use target sticks. Take plenty of time to identify where your body lines and the club face are pointing.

Technology:

5 checkpoints in preparing for the shot – 1. the position of the club face and body lines; 2. the grip; 3. body posture + weight distribution; 4. the distance between the feet and the ball; 5. the positioning of the ball in the stance

The ball is on the ground – the ball should fly as if it were sliding up a slide, i.e., start flat and then spiral upward through the air due to the backward spin with the dimples in the ball, an ascending ball flight – when it reaches its highest point, it falls down and stays in place – hit the ball slightly to the side from above/straight and then the ground.

The ball is on the tee – now you want the ball to start higher, like a rainbow; a flatter, dynamic ball flight with little backspin that lands softly and rolls far – swing as if you wanted to hit the ball in the middle of the stance, but place the ball forward – you graze the ground in the middle and hit the ball slightly to the side from below/straight.

Putts (up to 2 meters): Pay particular attention to the alignment of the club head and accept missed shots without comment.

Putting (medium and long): Before you take your shot, visualize the starting and ending speed of the ball! Pay particular attention to controlling the length. Get a feel for the distance by looking closely at the putting line. But also remember to get used to the rolling speed before the round by practicing your putting.

Chipping (short approach shots up to approx. 30 meters): Choose the landing point of the ball very carefully! Use a 7-iron more often and let the ball roll a lot. By using less force with this iron, you will hit the sweet spot (the center of the club face) more often. Use the weight of the club head by slightly angling your wrists during the backswing.

Pitching (the long approach): With a good hit, the ball slides up the club face and gets backspin. Even flat shots can stop right at the flag! Now rotate your hips slightly in both directions, keeping your shoulders and head free through the ball toward the target.

Transport shot: Try playing this shot more often as a 3/4 swing with a short end position (short finish, punch). A distance shot becomes a precision shot!

Swing: Pay particular attention to your body position and especially to the position of your shoulder line so that it matches the flight curve of your ball! Maintain your swing despite the changed ball position!

Playing the ball at the front of your stance gives the ball more roll after it lands, for example. However, this does not make it easier to hit the ball. So feel free to play the ball from the middle of your stance or just 1-2 ball widths in front of it. Please note: this will change the direction of the ball's flight! Your hands should always remain in front of the ball at impact.

Green bunker shot: Remember that the club should hit the ball. The sand and ball slide up the sloping club face together and clear the bunker edge with ease! I recommend using a pitch here!

The sand wedge has a higher head weight than the other irons. Take advantage of this by keeping your wrists loose and letting the weight swing.

Point of contact between the club head and the ball: Do you try to bring the club under the ball, but often hit the ground too early? To avoid hitting the ground too early, do you start to top the ball? Your shots will improve significantly if you always remember to bring the front edge of the sole just slightly under the equator of the ball, i.e., the center of the club face against the ball.

The right direction – the rotation of the hands and forearms (the rollover): If your grip pressure is loose during the swing, it really makes sense to more or less roll over your hands in preparation. Pay attention to your swing rhythm so that it matches the "loose" grip pressure. The club face will only point towards the target for a brief moment during your swing. Trust is everything.

Introduction to the rules of golf

The rules of golf determine how the game is played and cover aspects such as equipment, etiquette, course of play, and penalties. The objective is to get the ball into the hole from the tee with as few strokes as possible.

An overview of the most important golf rules:
  • Play the ball as it lies:
The ball is played as it lies after the previous stroke, unless there is a rule that allows an exception.

  • Play the course as you find it:
Try to change the course as little as possible, unless the rules allow it.

  • Be fair:
If you cannot follow either of the above rules, be fair and use the rules to your advantage.

  • Honesty:
Be honest when interpreting the rules and counting strokes.

  • Etiquette:
Be polite and considerate to other players, play quickly, and wait until the lane is clear before teeing off.

  • Equipment:
A player may use a maximum of 14 approved rackets, and the balls must also be approved.

  • Penalty:
Penalty strokes are awarded when rules are broken, for example when moving the ball or playing outside the permitted area.

  • Drop:
The ball is dropped from knee height.

  • "Ready Golf":
Players may play out of turn if it is safe to do so in order to speed up the game.

  • Bunker:
Loose natural materials that are causing obstruction may be removed from the bunker.

  • Penalty Areas:
Water hazards are referred to as "penalty areas" and may also include other areas of the course.

  • Green:
Hitting the flagstick from the green no longer results in penalty strokes.

It is advisable to familiarize yourself with the complete rules of golf, as there are many specific situations that are regulated.
